As participants in the Kansas City Spurs Basketball Club, there comes expectations both on and off the court required for the student athlete, parents/guardians and coaches.  Our coaches pledge to conduct ourselves professionally with class and as role models for the boys.

 

The KC Spurs asks that the student athletes attend all practices and games scheduled and that we be their primary club.  Our student athletes are expected to conduct themselves with class on and off the court.

Our program encourages Parents/Guardians to attend as many games as possible and to support their young athletes.  It is expected that they will conduct themselves with class, leave the coaching to the coaches, and officiating to officials.

 

Our coaches will be more than happy to discuss with you any development/skill issues you may have regarding your son, but will NOT talk about playing time or coaching philosophy.

 

There is a financial expenditure in playing for the KC Spurs Basketball Club and we ask for support in helping pay for expenses.  If a young player's parents/guardians need financial assistance to play, we have avenues for such support--don't be afraid to ask.
